Atlas Analytics & New World Economics to Deliver Conference Series: “From Outer Space to the Factory Floor”
Atlas Analytics' Weekly Subscriber Update
To say that the U.S. economy and financial markets have been turbulent since the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump is an understatement.
Since the election, the NASDAQ has fallen from an all-time high into a bear market (20% below its most recent highs) and then whipsawed back to some substantial gains (did you buy the dip as I wrote before?). The economy has been even more volatile, with Q1 2025 GDP falling to -0.3% from 2.4% the quarter before as I predicted even more accurately than all of the Federal Reserve Banks (see a nice tip of the hat from George Washington University economist Daniel Bachman).
So what should you and your company do to cut through the historic volatility and plan your corporate strategy?
In partnership with Cliff Waldman of New World Economics (NWE) in Washington, D.C., Atlas Analytics is offering a conference series entitled “Guiding Your Business: From Outer Space to the Factory Floor” to discuss your company’s strategy in light of this tremendous economic and financial uncertainty.
Waldman, an accomplished econometrician on manufacturing and supply chain policy, and I have partnered to provide a corporate lecture series that transcends outer space utilizing Atlas Analytics’ geospatial satellite macro forecasting technology. We’ll then focus on your company’s specific business model to share unique economic insights to guide your strategies to navigate these unprecedented times.
Drawing from Atlas Analytics’ accurate real-time macroeconomic forecasting, I provide updates to current GDP (including real-time forecasting for Q2 2025 at the weekly level to monitor the micro fluctuations of the business cycle). Waldman uses this data to provide insights directly tailored to business’s needs. This includes predicting customer demand and supplier bottle necks so your team can plan capital expenditures and business utilization rates with greater clarity.
